    The best leaf

Published by Michelle Karen on 24th Nov 2020

I started buy my tea from pumphreys two years ago. They are actual leaves instead of the dust swept off the floor. The quality and flavour of this tea is the best I have had. Just like the tea my granny gave us. It is very refreshing and doesn't go tanny... it also makes a fantastic ice tea in the summer and with mint and a little gin, it does very well in the summer evenings too. I highly recommend it.

We have been enjoying this tea having changed from Kenyan Highland which seemed to have altered its flavour and the texture of its leaves

This batch of FOP is perfect. The last batch had been much more powdery, and less rich to use and I mentioned it too you when I got it.. I love having the proper leaves back - evidently my comments didn't fall on deaf ears. This is a really great everyday tea, and the leaf size rally does matter!

    Best Tea Ever

Published by Unknown on 7th Dec 2016

I buy ten kilos a year of this tea. Nee I say more! I used to have Keemun as my regular tea, and I still love that too, but FOP is more of an all rounder, appreciated by everybody as a good, straightforward, flavourful standard.

Another 8 Kilos... I must like this tea!

Published by rw on 12th Jan 2016

Flowery Orange Pekoe is a great everyday tea - flavoursome and fragrant. Plain enough in flavour not to offend PGTips drinkers, complex enough to interest coffee drinkers. I also love Keemun, but many friends and family find it too smoky, so FOP has become my default tea.

    Pekoe experiment

I did not know what to expect. Attractive name and indeed, a nice tea although the flowery element seems hidden - or perhaps too subtle.
