Pumphreys of Newcastle upon Tyne are coffee suppliers established in 1750 offering the finest quality coffee and tea to all their customers from the catering trade or general public.

Directors Stuart Archer and Malcolm Archer have over 30 years experience in the coffee industry providing top quality coffee and are dedicated to meeting their customers' requirements whether that be coffee beans, fresh coffee or even gourmet coffee & speciality teas.

Coffee Suppliers

Since 1983, Pumphrey's Coffee has been based at Bridge Street, Blaydon, Newcastle upon Tyne comprising of a warehouse, factory and a coffee shop open to trade and the general public. Pumphrey’s Coffee was originally started in the Flesh Market (which used to be opposite the Bigg Market) in 1750. We purchase the finest coffee beans from around the world, roast them to order in the traditional way with flames, using roasting drums dating back over a hundred years, grind the beans how you want, ensuring that you get the delicious tasting, fresh coffee of your choice.

Pumphrey's Coffee is a member of the Newcastle Fairtrade Partnership. We support Fairtrade by promoting a way of trading that means a better deal for growers of coffee beans and tea in developing countries. We also deal with small scale producers in the same countries to ensure we support the production of Fairtrade coffee.
